Over the years we have included various university faculty, Elders, community educators, undergraduate and graduate students, a poet, artists, a graphic designer, post-doctoral fellows, and research assistants, associates, and fellows.

We recognize "Elders" following our principle of Two-Eyed Seeing and thus we include individuals who have provided guidance, wisdom, and knowledge from both the Aboriginal perspective and the mainstream scientific community.

The Director of the Institute for Integrative Science & Health is Dr. Cheryl Bartlett, Professor of Biology at Cape Breton University and holder of the Tier 1 Canada Research Chair in Integrative Science. The Canada Research Chairs is a program of the Government of Canada; it stands at the centre of a national strategy to make Canada one of the world's top countries in research and development.

Integrative Science has been brought to life by a grand assortment of people ... read our stories ... the menu on the right provides access.
