Wise Practices III HIV / AIDS Research Conference   February 01, 2011

On 9-11 March 2011, Mi'kmaw Elder Albert Marshall has been invited to speak on Two-Eyed Seeing at the "Wise Practices III HIV / AIDS Research Conference" being held at the Marriot Waterfront in Halifax, NS.  Wise Practices III is a research-based gathering held every 2 years to bring together academics, front line services providers, and APHAs (Aboriginal people living with HIV/AIDS).  Over the 2½ day gathering there will be workshops and sessions to discuss research being done in the Aboriginal community regarding HIV and AIDS.  More information can be obtained at http://caan.ca/.
